Back Online! - 31/01/09
We are finally back online. Our hosting company wanted too much money for the renewal of our webspace, so the site has been offline for sometime. Thankfully though, we have now moved to another company that was around a tenth of the cost of the old one. Unfortunately, as we chose not to renew the site with the old company, they deleted the existing website so I have managed to find an old copy of it, though it dates back to 2002! We also have a new email address - check out the contacts page.
A&E's The Immortal Dragon To Be Released In UK - 18/05/02
The Bruce & Brandon Lee Association are extremely proud to announce that the American documentary The Immortal Dragon from A&E, will be released on DVD and VHS around late August/early September. The BBLA have been working constantly with a London media company on this exciting project. Although the documentary has been available on VHS in America for a number of years, it has never been available in the UK on any format. It was screened on BBC2 about two years ago. Official 2003 Bruce and Brandon Lee Calendars Finalised - 08/05/02
The company Slow Dazzle have finalised their Bruce and Brandon Lee 2003 calendars. The BBLA helped choose the photographs that were used in the calendars.
Brandon Lee's Harley Davidson Up For Auction - 18/05/02
Brandon Lee's Harley Davidson motorcycle came up for auction recently. Unfortunately there were no bidders at the starting price of $15,000 (£10,000). Below is a picture of it.
Bruce Lee: The Legend Lives On - Another Update! - 18/05/02
We have just received copies of the above DVD. The documentary is not exactly a new. It is a re-edited version of the documentary Martial Arts Master (currently being distributed on VHS by Warner Brothers at £5.99). Fans should now be aware of what this title is and where it can be obtained from (see news below).
Bruce Lee: The Legend Lives On - Update! - 08/05/02
Although the BBLA were told by one of the said companies which owned the rights to this title, we have discovered - thanks to Carl Fox's tenacity on observing many different release dates and availability - that is is available to buy. The BBLA take no responsibility when factual information has been given from so-called reliable sources that turn out to be untrue. We can now definitely confirm that Bruce Lee: The Legend Lives On, was edited and produced in the UK, although it's delay was due to unconfirmed clearance of footage, and fairly extensive re-editing of this documentary. It has been on release since April 29th 2002 and it's cheapest availability on DVD is from www.splashdvd.com for £8.49 including postage and on VHS from www.bensonsworld.co.uk for £8.99 including postage. This is a big thank you from all BBLA members, to Carl Fox for his ever watchful eye.
Shannon Lee Keasler's Movie "Epoch" To Be Screened On UK Sky TV - 03/05/02
News has reached us from BBLA member Anthony Moore (No. 01857) regarding one of Shannon Lee Keasler's movies that we didn't even know that she had made. The movie is called "EPOCH" and here is a basic synopsis of the film:-
Billions of years ago, Torus, a massive, mysterious structure of unknown alien origin crashed to Earth. Now, it has emerged from the ground in a remote part of the world and is hovering above the planet's surface, causing natural disasters and global panic. Mason Rand (David Keith), a top-secret weapons specialist, is called in to unlock the secrets of the structure. When he discovers a secret doorway into another world, he discovers that the future of humankind may possibly rest on his shoulders.
The movie appears to have been made primarily for US TV. The good news is that UK channel Sky Movie Max are showing it several times over the coming months. Here is a run down of the dates and channels on which it will be shown:-

Fury Of The Dragon UK VHS - Problems - 17/04/02
Revelation Films, the company behind the movie Fury Of The Dragon, have asked the BBLA to inform all members and Bruce Lee appreciators that the VHS version of the film does not contain the trailers as advertised on the back cover. It is due to a mistake at Revelation's authoring house and the trailers should actually be there. Revelation request that anyone affected by this error obtain their address by contacting their product manager via email at info@revfilms.net. It is only the VHS version that is affected by this small error.
Bruce Lee: Quest Of The Dragon - XBOX Game Due For Release - 13/04/02
Microsoft and Ronin Entertainment are currently putting the finishing touches to the officially licensed Microsoft XBOX game Bruce Lee: Quest Of The Dragon. The game is planned for release in the third quarter of 2002. Fury Of The Dragon - Region 2 DVD Announced - 16/02/02
Details have just come in regarding the release of the new UK Region 2 Fury Of The Dragon DVD. The DVD will be released on March 25th 2002.
